People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Leicester, Leicestershire.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay, ongoing work, and the chance to grow and progress within a respected logistics business.
Shifts:
• Monday to Friday – Start times between 06:00 and 16:00
Pay Rate:
• £14.80 per hour
Benefits:

Day-to-Day Duties:
• Operating and driving 7.5 Tonne vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensuring all loads are safe and secure before transport
• Adhering to traffic laws and company driving standards
• Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly
• No heavy lifting involved
Essential Skills:
• Valid UK Category C1 Licence
• Minimum of 12 months experience driving C1 vehicles
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences and no major endorsements
• Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good level of spoken and written English
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
• Good understanding of road safety and traffic regulations
• Excellent communication skills
Desirable Experience:
• Previous commercial driving experience would be advantageous
Training:
• Full industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
