People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Reach Truck Driver to join our well-established client based in Stoke on Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work and excellent rates of pay within a busy warehouse environment. This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as a Forklift Truck Driver, FLT Operator or Reach Driver, ideally with a D2 licence, as this warehouse operates a double deep racking system.

Shifts: Any 5 out of 7 Day and night shifts available, up to 12 hours

Rates of Pay: £13.60 per hour; Night shift: £15.64 per hour between 10pm and 7am (shifts start between 5pm – 6pm)

Day-to-Day Duties: As an FLT Reach Truck Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Driving and operating a Reach Truck safely and efficiently
  • Loading and unloading goods throughout the warehouse
  • Receiving goods into the warehouse
  • Checking incoming and outgoing stock for quantity and visual quality
  • Organising stock ready for deliveries
  • Moving stock around the warehouse as required
  • Following all health and safety procedures at all times
  • Supporting general warehouse duties where required

Essential Skills: As an FLT Reach Truck Driver, you will need:

  • A valid Reach Truck licence accredited by RTITB or ITSSAR (in-house licences will be considered for the right candidates)
  • Previous experience operating Reach Truck D1 or D2
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good spatial awareness
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and reliability
  • A positive and proactive attitude

Desirable Experience: Previous experience as an FLT Reach Truck Driver

Training Provided: FLT assessment required prior to start
