People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our client's growing transport operation in Cumbernauld and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers who are looking for stability, great earning potential, and long-term progression.
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 6:00am starts
Pay Rate: £17.00 - £20.35 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
- Safely operate and drive Class 2 vehicles to and from delivery locations
- Complete loading and unloading tasks with care and accuracy
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects to management
- Adhere to all traffic laws and road safety regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and site staff
SOME HANDBALL REQUIRED
Essential Skills
- Valid UK Category C Licence
- Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD, CD codes)
- Reliable, professional, and punctual
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Understanding of road safety and compliance
- Ability to work with a Driver's Mate to complete multi-drop deliveries
Desirable Experience
- Previous commercial or multi-drop delivery experience
- Experience handling large or bulky goods
- Good customer interaction and service skills
