People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers β Refuse to join our client's expanding transport team based in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced and newly qualified HGV Class 2 Drivers β Refuse to secure full-time work with excellent rates of pay, full training, and genuine long-term progression.

Day-to-Day Duties
- Safely operating and driving Class 2 vehicles
- Delivering kitchen and bedroom products to customer homes with a Driver's Mate
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Completing pre- and post-journey vehicle checks
- Ensuring all loads are secure before transport
- Maintaining accurate delivery documentation
- Following planned routes and delivery schedules
- Communicating professionally with customers, transport teams, and colleagues
- Some handball required
Essential Skills
- Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Licence
- Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD or CD codes)
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Strong understanding of road safety and traffic regulations
- Ability to work as part of a two-person delivery team
Desirable Experience
- Experience driving commercial or multi-drop vehicles
- Experience delivering large or bulky goods
- Previous customer-facing delivery experience
