Wigan People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Reach Truck Driver (Warehouse Operative) to join our well-established client based in Wigan. This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work, excellent rates of pay and the opportunity to secure a permanent position. This role may be suitable for candidates with experience as a Reach Truck Driver, FLT Driver, Warehouse Operative or Forklift Truck Operator.
Shift Pattern:
- Afternoons: 13:00 to 22:00, Monday to Friday
- Nights: 21:00 to 06:00, Monday to Friday or Sunday to Thursday
Pay Rate:
- Afternoons: £13.50 per hour
- Nights: £14.00 per hour

Day to Day Duties:
- Operating Reach trucks to pick and replenish stock
- Supporting the packing team with preparing orders for dispatch
- Stacking and wrapping pallets
- General warehouse housekeeping duties
- Breaking down and disposing of cardboard and warehouse waste
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Carrying out general cleaning and tidying duties as required
Essential Skills:
- Valid RTITB or ITSSAR Reach Truck Licence
- Hard-working, reliable and punctual approach to work
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to support warehouse operations
Desirable Experience:
- Previous warehouse experience
- Experience operating Reach trucks within a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Experience working to productivity targets
Training:
Full site training provided. Ongoing support throughout your assignment.
