Field Based Optical Assistant
Monday – Friday: 8.30AM – 5.30PM (NO WEEKENDS OR BANK HOLIDAY WORKING)
Annual Salary £27,000 – £32,000 (PLUS FULLY EXPENSED COMPANY CAR)
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Field Optical Assistant to join our well-established client based in Birmingham on a full-time permanent basis.

THIS ROLE IS A FIELD BASED VACANCY AND WILL BE COVERING A LARGE TERRITORY TO INCLUDE MANCHESTER, LEEDS, HULL AND MIDLANDS.
THERE WILL BE DAILY TRAVEL INVOLVED IN A FULLY EXPENSED COMPANY CAR

Day to Day Duties
- Conduct pre-tests for patients and support the optometrist in clinic
- Dispense glasses with the level of care you would expect for yourself
- Deliver and fit glasses with precision to change someone\’s quality of life
- Maintain accurate patient records for continuity of care
- Provide outstanding customer service so that they remember you
- Repair glasses with skill and care
Essential Skills
- Must have full driving license
- 12 months minimum optical experience gained within an optician setting
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good Maths and English ability
- Excellent people person
Desirable Experience
- Previous work within a care home setting may be desirable
Training
- Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
