People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Hotbox Driver to join our clients busy and supportive team based in Falkirk. This is a great opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 2 driver who is happy to get involved on-site and support the wider team with day-to-day operations. The role offers stable, Monday to Friday hours and long-term work.
Shifts: Monday to Friday: 7:30am – 4.30pm
Salary: £34,000 - £36,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Day-to-day duties:
- Operating a Category C vehicle with hotbox safely and efficiently
- Transporting and supplying materials to work sites as required
- Supporting the on-site team with general duties when needed
- Ensuring materials are delivered in a timely and safe manner
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Maintaining cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle
- Adhering to all health and safety and transport regulations at all times
- Completing delivery paperwork and records accurately
- Working closely with supervisors and site teams to support operations
Essential skills:
- A valid UK Category C Driving Licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous experience driving Category C vehicles
- A strong work ethic and willingness to help the team on-site
- Good communication skills
- A strong awareness of health and safety
- The right to work in the UK and able to prove this
Desirable experience:
- Previous experience operating a hotbox preferred, but full training provided
- Experience within highways, roads, or construction environments beneficial
- Familiarity with site-based work and materials delivery preferred, but not essential
Training: Site-specific paid induction provided. Industry related training and ongoing support throughout.
