People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Falkirk. This is a fantastic opportunity, with genuine opportunities for growth and progression.

Shifts: Monday to Friday: AM starts

Rate of pay: £14.75 per hour

Day-to-day duties:

  • Carrying out palletised multi drop deliveries and collections from customer sites
  • Operating and driving Category C vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations
  • Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly
  • Adhering to traffic laws and regulations
  • Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
  • Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management

Essential skills:

  • A valid UK Category C licence
  • A minimum of twelve months' experience driving Category C vehicles
  • No more than six penalty points for minor infringements, with no major endorsement codes
  • A valid UK CPC card and Digi card
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Punctuality and excellent time-keeping skills
  • A solid understanding of traffic laws and regulations
  • Effective communication skills

Training: Driver's assessment must be completed before starting; this takes place on your first shift.
