People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Falkirk. This is a fantastic opportunity, offering excellent rates of pay and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.
Shifts:
- Monday to Friday days: 7am starts
- Monday to Friday nights: 7pm starts
Rates of pay:
- Days: £15.00 per hour
- Nights: £18.50 per hour

Day-to-day duties:
- Delivering pallets to client premises.
- Operating and driving Category CE vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations.
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly.
- Adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management.
- Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo when required.
Essential skills:
- A valid UK Category CE Driving Licence.
- A minimum of twelve months' experience driving Category CE vehicles.
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements, with no major endorsement codes.
- A valid UK CPC card and Digi card.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Punctuality and excellent time-keeping skills.
- A solid understanding of traffic laws and regulations.
- Effective communication skills.
Training: Driver's assessment must be completed before starting, and this will take place on your first shift. Industry related training and ongoing support throughout.
