People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, full training, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position with a leading logistics business.
This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, 7.5t Multi-Drop Driver, Home Delivery Driver.
Shifts: Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday - early morning starts from 06:00 or 10:00
Rates of Pay: £15.31 per hour plus overtime available

Day-to-Day Duties:
- Completing multi-drop home deliveries alongside a Driver's Mate
- Delivering heavy goods and household appliances to customers' homes
- Carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting safely as part of a two-person team
- Planning delivery routes and completing deliveries efficiently
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects
- Maintaining accurate Digital Tachograph records and delivery paperwork
- Providing excellent customer service at every delivery location
- Following all road transport legislation and company procedures
Essential Skills:
- A valid UK Category C or C1 Driving Licence
- A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- A minimum of three months' HGV Class 2 driving experience
- A flexible approach to weekend working
- The ability to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting duties
- A reliable, professional, and punctual attitude
- A willingness to undergo a Basic DBS check
Desirable Experience:
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience
- Previous home delivery experience
- Experience delivering large or bulky goods
- Customer-facing delivery experience
Training Provided: Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment.
