People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver based in Daventry, Northamptonshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.
Shifts
- Tuesday – Friday, start times between 05:00 – 06:00
Rates of Pay
- £15.00 per hour (Monday to Friday)

Day-to-Day Duties
- Deliver and offload flooring products to various customers
- Operate and drive 7.5 Tonne vehicles safely and efficiently
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
Essential Skills
- Valid UK Category C1 / 7.5 Tonne Licence
- Minimum six months' experience driving Category C1 vehicles
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements (no major endorsement codes)
- Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good level of spoken and written English
- Punctuality and excellent timekeeping skills
Desirable Experience
- Experience driving commercial vehicles
- Previous experience with multi-drop deliveries
