People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Warrington, Cheshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, full training, and genuine long-term opportunities with a leading company within the industry. This role would also suit candidates who have previously worked as a C1 Driver, Delivery Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Van Driver, or Truck Driver.

  • Monday to Friday
  • Start times between 05:00am – 06:00am
  • Approximate shift length of 8–10 hours
  • Ongoing full-time work

Day-to-Day Duties

  • Driving Category C1 vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Completing between 12–25 deliveries per shift to commercial properties across the North West
  • Carrying out vehicle checks before and after each shift
  • Ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on time
  • Taking photographs to document successful deliveries
  • Communicating professionally with customers on delivery sites
  • Addressing customer concerns and reporting issues promptly to management
  • Adhering to all transport regulations and company procedures

Essential Skills

  • A minimum of 24 months' experience driving 7.5 Tonne vehicles
  • A valid UK Category C1 Driving Licence
  • A valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than six penalty points for minor offences
  • No DR10, DG10, IN10, or TT99 endorsement codes
  • No major endorsement codes
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Good punctuality and timekeeping
