People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 3.5 Tonne Driver – Crick, Northamptonshire to join our well-established client based in Crick, Northamptonshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine potential for progression.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a 3.5 Tonne Driver, Van Driver, Delivery Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, or Courier Driver.

Day-to-Day Duties

As a 3.5 Tonne Driver, your duties will include:

  • Carrying out multi-drop deliveries (20–25 drops per day)
  • Loading and unloading boxes and packages
  • Ensuring all loads are safe and secure
  • Completing vehicle inspections and reporting faults
  • Operating a 3.5 tonne van safely and efficiently
  • Maintaining accurate delivery records and paperwork
  • Communicating effectively with staff at delivery locations
Essential Skills

To be successful as a 3.5 Tonne Driver, you will need:

  • Previous multi-drop experience (preferred)
  • A valid UK Category B Driving Licence held for at least two years (some penalty points considered)
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle operation and driving regulations
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to identify and report vehicle safety issues
  • Good understanding of road networks and navigational tools
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and use your own initiative
Desirable Experience
