People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver - Multi-Drop - Bristol to join our well-established client based in Avonmouth, Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression. This role is ideal for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for consistent night-shift work.
Rates of Pay:
- £21.49 per hour
- 10-hour minimum shift payment guaranteed
Shift Pattern:
- 5 days on, 3 days off
- 18:00 start times

Day-to-Day Duties:
- Class 1 multi-drop deliveries, completing up to 11 drops per night
- Operating Category C+E vehicles safely and efficiently
- Carrying out pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections
- Ensuring all goods are loaded and secured correctly
- Adhering to UK traffic laws and transport regulations
- Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers
- Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements
- Assisting with loading and unloading when required
Essential Skills:
- A valid UK Category C+E Driving Licence
- A minimum of two years' experience driving C+E vehicles
- No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsement codes)
- A valid UK Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good spoken and written English
- Excellent punctuality and timekeeping
- A strong understanding of UK road traffic laws
- Effective communication skills
Training:
- Driver assessment required prior to starting
