People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Sewing Machinist to join our well-established client based in Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity, offering great benefits and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.
Shifts: Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30 & Friday 07:30 - 12:00
Rates of Pay: £12.21 per hour
Benefits include:

Day-to-day duties:
- Setting up and running machines to ensure optimum efficiency
- Operating industrial sewing machines in a fast-paced production setting
- Carrying out twin needle sewing, top sewing, flat sewing, and over-locking
- Ensuring adequate stock of materials to maintain productivity
- Keeping the work area clean and tidy at all times
- Reporting defective machine parts promptly
Essential skills:
- Previous experience as a Sewing Machinist or similar role
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in a production environment
- A committed attitude to continuous improvement activities such as 5S and lean production
Training: Full training will be provided on site, with continued development opportunities.
