Job Title: Core Maker
Location: Stourbridge
Pay Rates: £14.00 – £ 15.00 per hour
Monday to Friday
Shift Patterns: 05.00am till 13.00pm
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join one of our thriving customers as a Core Maker operating a brand new Laempe Machine. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team within a well-established foundry, where your skills and experience will be valued and further developed.
What you will be doing:
- Operate the Laempe machine to produce high-quality sand cores, ensuring all specifications and production targets are met.
- Carry out cold box core blowing using the Laempe machine, monitoring the process to ensure consistent and accurate production.
- Maintain smooth operation of the core-making process, ensuring cycle times and production flow are optimised.
- Inspect cores for defects and ensure they meet quality standards before progressing to the next stage.
- Safely manoeuvre and transport moulding boxes, clamp cores, and prepare them for casting and knock-out to meet production requirements.
- Report any defects or process issues promptly to the production supervisor to maintain high standards and avoid production delays.
What we are looking for:
- Experience operating Laempe machines or similar core-making equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet production targets.
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance and quality control.
- Commitment to health and safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.

- Experience in a previous role who be an advantage
