People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client based in Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing full-time work, and genuine opportunities for long-term progression.
This role would suit candidates with experience as an FLT Driver, Reach Truck Driver, Counterbalance Driver, Warehouse Operative, Picker Packer, or LLOP Driver.
Shifts- Sunday to Thursday
- Approx. 17:00 – 02:30
- Immediate starts available
- £13.00 per hour for the first 12 weeks
- Increasing to £13.89 per hour from week 13 onwards
As an FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative, you will receive:

As an FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:
- Voice picking customer orders accurately
- Packing products ready for dispatch
- Pallet wrapping and securing goods for transport
- Operating an LLOP within the warehouse
- Operating an FLT when required
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Supporting general warehouse duties to ensure smooth operations
- Manual handling of products weighing approximately 20–30kg
- Maintaining stock accuracy and keeping warehouse areas organised
- Following all health and safety procedures and company policies
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous warehouse experience within a fast-paced environment
- A valid Counterbalance or Reach Truck FLT licence
- In-house FLT licences or RTITB qualifications accepted with relevant FLT experience
- Voice picking experience is highly desirable
- LLOP experience is advantageous
- The ability to carry out manual handling duties involving products weighing 20–30kg
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
- Previous experience working within a distribution or logistics warehouse
- Experience operating warehouse MHE equipment in a busy environment
