People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Coalville, East Midlands. This role would also be suitable for candidates with experience as a Class 2 Driver, HGV Driver, LGV Driver, Multi Drop Driver, or Delivery Driver.

Day-to-Day Duties
- RDC or brewery deliveries with no handball (curtain-side trailers)
- Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
- Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured correctly
- Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
- Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance issues
- Assisting with loading and unloading when required
- Heavy lifting involved
Essential Skills
- Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
- Minimum of 12 months experience driving Category C vehicles
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements (no major endorsements)
- Valid UK CPC Card and Digi Card
- Good level of English (spoken and written)
- Punctual with excellent timekeeping skills
- Good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
- Effective communication skills
- Physically fit due to the nature of the role
Desirable Experience
- Experience driving commercial vehicles
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience
Training Provided
- Industry-related training and ongoing support
