People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 ADR Driver to join our well-established client based in Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent hourly rates, ongoing Monday to Friday work, immediate starts and genuine long-term opportunities for both experienced and newly qualified ADR drivers.

This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 2 ADR Driver, LGV Class 2 ADR Driver, Class 2 ADR Driver, Category C ADR Driver, ADR Driver, HGV Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Rigid Driver, Commercial Driver or Delivery Driver.

Shifts

  • Monday to Friday | Day shifts
  • Circa 05:00 start times

Rates of Pay

  • £17.00 per hour
  • Weekly pay (PAYE)

Day-to-Day Duties

As an HGV Class 2 ADR Driver, your duties will include:

  • Driving and operating Category C (Class 2) ADR vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Delivering ADR goods to RDCs and customer sites
  • Completing multi-drop deliveries with a Driver's Mate where required
  • Loading and unloading vehicles safely and securely
  • Carrying out daily vehicle safety inspections and reporting defects
  • Completing delivery paperwork accurately
  • Following Driver Hours Regulations, ADR requirements and all road traffic legislation
  • Providing excellent customer service at every delivery

Essential Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence
  • Valid Driver CPC Card
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Valid ADR Certificate (European ADR Qualification)
  • No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes (IN, DR, DD or CD)
  • Professional, reliable and safety-focused approach
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Good understanding of ADR regulations and road transport legislation

Desirable Experience

  • Previous commercial Class 2 driving experience
  • Previous ADR or multi-drop delivery experience
  • Experience handling large or bulky goods

Training Provided

Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment.
