CLASS 2 HIAB DRIVER
Shift: Monday to Friday with overtime available
Pay Rate: £15.00 PER HOUR
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Hiab Driver to join our well-established client based in Grangemouth. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

Day to Day Duties:
Your duties as a Class 2 Hiab Driver will involve but not be limited to:
- Safely operate HGV vehicles and Hiab cranes to deliver and collect accommodation and power equipment across customer sites
- Supervise the safe and efficient loading and unloading of equipment using Hiab cranes
- Liaise with site managers and customers to confirm delivery arrangements, access requirements, and security protocols
- Navigate varied customer sites safely, professionally, and in line with site-specific safety rules
- Carry out daily vehicle and equipment checks to maintain compliance and safety
- Follow all transport regulations, company procedures, and health & safety policies
- Represent Jarvie Plant with professionalism, delivering excellent service to customers and internal teams
Essential Skills:
As a Class 2 Hiab Driver you will need to:
- A valid LGV Class 1 or Class 2 Licence
- An in-date Driver CPC Qualification, with a minimum of one CPC training day completed per year since obtaining the card
- An in-date Digi Tacho Card
- Good knowledge of EU driving hours regulations and tachograph rules
- An in-date Lorry Loader (Hiab) certification – experience operating Hiab equipment is essential
- Experience of construction site deliveries is highly desirable
- A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to work independently and adapt to varying site conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and customer-friendly attitude
Training:
- Any required training will be provided on first day and ongoing support throughout
