CLASS 2 DRIVER – DAYS WORKING MONDAY TO FRIDAY: START TIMES 06:00 – 08:00 PAY RATE: £14.50 PER HOUR MONDAY TO FRIDAY What\’s in it for me? As a Class 2 Driver you will receive the following benefits: Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay Immediate starts Day to Day Duties Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to: RDC or customer deliveries which will include hand-balling, Operating and driving various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhering to traffic laws and regulations Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo as needed Completing any paperwork Essential Skills As a Class 2 Driver you will need to: Hold a valid UK Category C Licence Have a minimum of 24 months experience driving C vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card Must be able to speak and read a good level of English Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Ratchet Strap experience is a MUST Desirable Experience Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial Previous experience with multi drop deliveries will be beneficial Training Industry related training and ongoing support throughout Contact This client values its workers and provides an excellent work environment.
