People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Gloucester. This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work, excellent rates of pay, full training, and long-term opportunities for both experienced and newly qualified drivers.
This role would suit candidates with previous experience as a HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Delivery Driver, or Truck Driver.

Pay: £17.05 per hour (PAYE Holiday accrued separately)
As a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will receive:

Your duties will include:
- Driving waste and recycling vehicles safely and professionally
- Following pre-planned collection routes and route risk assessments
- Carrying out reversing manoeuvres and careful driving in narrow residential streets
- Assisting with vehicle loading where required
- Maintaining accurate paperwork and delivery records
- Communicating effectively with transport teams, customers, and site staff
- Working alongside a Drivers Mate to complete collections efficiently
You will need:
- A valid UK Category C Licence
- Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous commercial driving or multi-drop experience
- Previous customer-facing delivery experience
Training Provided: Full industry-related training provided.
