HGV Class 2 Driver – Multi-Drop – Swindon People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Swindon .
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing full-time work, immediate starts, and genuine long-term opportunities within a professional transport operation.
This role would suit candidates with experience as a Class 2 Driver, HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Delivery Driver, or Distribution Driver .
This is an ideal role for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for stable day shifts and consistent Monday to Friday work.

- Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:• Completing Class 2 multi-drop deliveries to customer locations
- Operating Category C vehicles safely and efficiently
- Carrying out pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections
- Ensuring all goods are loaded and secured correctly before transport
- Adhering to UK traffic laws and transport regulations
- Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers
- Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly
- Assisting with loading and unloading where required
- Completing all relevant paperwork and delivery documentation accurately
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:• A valid UK Category C Driving Licence
- A minimum of 12 months' Class 2 driving experience
- No more than six penalty points for minor offences
- No major endorsement codes
- A valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good spoken and written English
- Excellent punctuality and timekeeping
- A strong understanding of UK road traffic laws and drivers' hours regulations
- Good communication and customer service skills Desirable Experience• Previous commercial driving experience would be beneficial
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience would be advantageous
