People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Bredbury (SK6). This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-known bakery with plenty of ongoing work available.

Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but are not limited to:
- Delivering trays of bread to shops around the North West
- Operating and driving various class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly
- Adhering to traffic laws and regulations
- Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
- Maintaining accurate records of shipment, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
As a Class 2 Driver you will need:
- To hold a valid UK Category C Licence (CLASS 2)
- An in-date UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card
- New passes are welcome
- No more than six penalty points and no major endorsement codes
- To be able to speak and read a good level of English
- Experience operating various trailer types
- Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
- Effective communication skills
- Flexibility and availability to work overtime as and when required
- The ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
- Experience driving any commercial vehicles
- Driving assessment must be completed prior to starting
- Two-day paid induction provided after successful assessment
