People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Wigan, Greater Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

Rates of Pay:
Basic: £15.00 per hour
Day to Day Duties:
- Delivery to customers and depots (working on curtain-side)
- 8-12 drops per day
- Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure all goods loaded and secured properly
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods as needed
Essential Skills:
- Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
- Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving Category C vehicles
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
- Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
- Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
- Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
- Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
- Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience:
- Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
- Previous experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial
Training:
Industry related training and ongoing support throughout.
