People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Gloucester, Gloucestershire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

Day to Day Duties:
- Class 1 trunking work, curtain sided
- Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
- Assist with loading and unloading of cargo as needed
Essential Skills:
- Hold a valid UK Category CE Licence
- Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving CE vehicles
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
- Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
- Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
- Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
- Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
- Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience:
- Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
Training:
- Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
