People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in the Crick area from 7th April onwards.

Rates of Pay:

DAYS

  • Basic: £17.50 per hour
  • Overtime: £23.95 per hour after 48 hours

NIGHTS

  • Basic: £19.50 per hour
  • Overtime: £24.81 per hour after 48 hours

Day to Day Duties

  • Depot to depot trunking
  • Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Ensure all cargo loaded and secured safely
  • Adhere to traffic laws and regulations

Essential Skills

  • Hold a valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
  • Have a minimum of twelve months experience driving CE vehicles
  • No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
  • Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card

Desirable Experience

  • Experience driving commercial vehicles would be beneficial.

Training

Driver's Assessment will have to be completed.
