People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Forklift & Warehouse Operative with a valid Counterbalance Licence to join our well-established client based in Chippenham on a full-time ongoing basis. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work and genuine opportunities for growth and progression within a reputable warehouse and logistics environment.
This role would suit candidates with experience as a Forklift Driver, Counterbalance Driver, Warehouse Operative, Yard Operative, Stock Controller, Production Operative or General Operative. Due to travel between sites, access to your own transport is essential.
Shifts- Monday to Friday
- 09:00 – 17:00
£13.20 per hour

Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Supporting warehouse processes within a busy working environment
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
- Moving materials and stock around the warehouse and yard
- Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
- Preparing customer orders for dispatch
- Using a jet wash to clean equipment and yard areas
- Completing general warehouse and yard duties
- Carrying out stock checks and completing basic documentation
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment
- Working across both the Calne and Chippenham sites when required
To be successful as a Forklift & Warehouse Operative, you will need:
- A valid Counterbalance Licence
- Confidence using tools and related equipment
- A reliable and hardworking attitude
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- The ability to follow instructions and work safely at all times
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
Full training provided. Ongoing development and support throughout your assignment.
