People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join our well-established client based in Chippenham on a full-time temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression within a reputable logistics operation.

This position is ideal for applicants who have worked in a previous position as a Production Operative, Factory Operative or Warehouse Operative.

Shifts:

  • Working Monday to Friday 14:00 - 22:00
  • Working Monday to Friday 18:00 - 02:00
  • Working 4 on 4 off shifts 06:00 - 18:00

Day-to-Day Duties: As a Production Operative, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Packing eggs accurately into trays, boxes and retail packaging in line with customer specifications
  • Operating packing and grading machinery to ensure eggs are processed efficiently and accurately
  • Carrying out manual handling tasks including loading, unloading and packing products in line with production targets
  • Identifying and reporting any defects, faults or issues with product or machinery
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and housekeeping within the production area
  • Following all food safety, biosecurity, health and safety and site procedures
  • Supporting line changeovers, cleaning and preparation between production runs
  • Accurately completing production and quality records where required
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team to meet daily production schedules and KPIs

Essential Skills: To be successful as a Production Operative, you will need:

  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Physically fit and able to work on a fast paced production line
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-motivated

Desirable Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar production or factory role

Training: Full training provided, ongoing development support.
