People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Forklift & Warehouse Operative with a valid Counterbalance Licence to join our well-established client based in Chippenham on a full-time ongoing basis. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work and genuine opportunities for growth and progression within a reputable warehouse and logistics environment.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Forklift Driver, Counterbalance Driver, Warehouse Operative, Yard Operative, Stock Controller, Production Operative or General Operative. Please note: Due to travel between sites, access to your own transport is essential.

Shifts

  • Monday to Friday
  • 09:00 – 17:00

Rates of Pay

  • £13.20 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

  • Supporting warehouse processes within a busy working environment
  • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
  • Moving materials and stock around the warehouse and yard
  • Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
  • Preparing customer orders for dispatch
  • Using a jet wash to clean equipment and yard areas
  • Completing general warehouse and yard duties
  • Carrying out stock checks and completing basic documentation
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment
  • Working across both the Calne and Chippenham sites when required

Essential Skills

  • A valid Counterbalance Licence
  • Confidence using tools and related equipment
  • A reliable and hardworking attitude
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • The ability to follow instructions and work safely at all times
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail
