People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Bicester, Oxfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity, offering excellent rates of pay and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.
Shifts
- Monday to Friday, 0700 – job finish
Rates of Pay
- £15.00 per hour (minimum 9-hour guarantee each day)

Day-to-Day Duties
- Carrying out pallet deliveries throughout Oxfordshire
- Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly
- Adhering to traffic laws and regulations
- Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
- Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
- Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo when required
Essential Skills
- Valid UK Category C licence
- Minimum 12 months' experience driving Category C vehicles
- No more than 6 penalty points for minor infringements, with no major endorsement codes
- Valid UK CPC card and Digi card
- Good spoken and written English
- Punctuality and excellent time-keeping skills
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations
- Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience
- Previous commercial driving experience
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience
Training Provided
- Driver assessment must be completed before starting
