People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers - Tramping to join our well-established client based in Bellshill and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent pay rates, ongoing work, and long-term career progression for both experienced drivers and newly qualified/new pass drivers.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Rigid Driver, Tramper Driver or Multi-Drop Driver.

Shift Pattern: Tramping

Pay Rates: £16.50 - £18.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:

  • Safely operate and drive Class 2 vehicles to and from delivery locations
  • Complete loading and unloading duties safely and efficiently
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and road safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and site staff
  • Work alongside a Driver's Mate to complete deliveries

Essential Skills:

  • Valid UK Category C Licence
  • Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than six penalty points for minor offences
  • No IN, DR, DD or CD convictions
  • Reliable, professional, and punctual attitude
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Strong understanding of road safety and compliance

Desirable Experience:

  • Previous commercial driving or multi-drop experience
  • Experience handling large or bulky goods
  • Good customer-facing experience

Training: Full industry-related training provided. Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment.
