People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 HIAB Driver to join our well-established client based in Bellshill and surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.
To be eligible for this role you MUST have a valid grab HIAB licence.
Shifts: Monday - Friday: 06:30 starts
Rates of Pay: £16.25 - £19.00 per hour

Day to Day Duties: Your duties as a Class 2 HIAB Driver will involve but not be limited to:
- Delivering most building materials to construction sites
- Operating and driving various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
- Operating a HIAB/lorry-mounted crane safely and efficiently (brick grab)
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly
- Adhering to traffic laws and regulations
- Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
- Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
- Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo as needed
Essential Skills: As a Class 2 HIAB Driver you will need to:
- Be able to work as part of a team
- Hold a valid grab HIAB Certificate
- Have no more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
- Be able to use PDA (personal digital assistant)
- Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
- Hold a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card
- Be able to speak and read a good level of English
- Be punctual and have excellent time keeping skills
- Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
- Have effective communication skills
Desirable Experience:
- Experience driving any commercial vehicles
- Previous experience with multi drop deliveries
Training: Training will be provided on first day and ongoing support throughout.
