HGV Class 1 ADR Night Driver - Middlesbrough People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 ADR Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver, CE Driver, ADR Driver, Category CE Driver, or Articulated Lorry Driver to join our well-established client based in Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire .

- Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 1 ADR Night Driver, your duties will include:
- Transporting goods on curtain-sided vehicles with no handball involved
- Completing trunk runs between depots and client sites
- Operating and driving HGV Class 1 (Category CE) vehicles safely and efficiently
- Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensuring all loads are safe, secure, and compliant with legislation
- Adhering to all traffic laws, ADR regulations, and company procedures
- Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers
- Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements promptly
- Completing all relevant paperwork and tachograph records accurately Essential Skills As an HGV Class 1 ADR Night Driver, you will need:
- Valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
- Minimum of 12 months' experience driving Class 1 (CE) vehicles
- Valid Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- Valid ADR Certificate (essential)
- No more than six penalty points for minor offences and no major endorsement codes
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability
- Good understanding of UK road transport and ADR regulations Desirable Experience
- Previous commercial driving experience in trunking or regional logistics
- Previous experience operating curtain-sided vehicles
- Experience transporting ADR goods would be advantageous Training Provided
