People Solutions are currently recruiting for a CNC Table Saw / Band Saw Operator to join our client based in Glasgow. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience operating a table saw, band saw, or working within a joinery or manufacturing environment. The role will involve cutting blanks from boards, working to measurements, and ensuring materials are cut accurately and safely. This role would suit candidates who have previously worked as a Joiner's Labourer, Machine Operator, Production Operative, Wood Machinist, or Manufacturing Operative.
Shifts: Monday to Thursday: 8.00am - 4.45pm & Friday: 8.00am - 2.30pm
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

Day to Day Duties:
- Operating a CNC table saw / band saw
- Cutting blanks from boards to required sizes
- Measuring and checking materials before cutting
- Handling boards and materials safely
- Working to production requirements
- Carrying out quality checks on cut materials
- Keeping the work area clean, safe, and organised
- Following all site health and safety procedures
- General production and warehouse duties where required
Essential Skills:
- Previous experience using a table saw, band saw, or similar machinery
- Experience working with wood, boards, or similar materials
- Able to measure accurately
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable with manual handling
- Reliable and hardworking attitude
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Able to follow instructions and work safely
Desirable Experience:
- Previous experience as a Joiner's Labourer
- Previous production or manufacturing experience
- Previous wood machining experience
- Experience cutting boards or blanks
Training: Industry related training and ongoing support throughout.
