Air Freight Administrator – Leicester
People Solutions are currently recruiting for an Air Freight Administrator to join our well-established client based in Leicester on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity offering an excellent annual salary and genuine opportunities to grow and progress.
This role will involve handling Air Freight Export and Cross Trade bookings from start to finish. Please note, the company is an HMRC approved premises and, to comply with industry accreditations, a 5-year history check and DBS check will be required.
Shifts
• Monday to Friday
• 09:00 – 17:00

• £31,000 per annum

Day-to-Day Duties
• Making bookings according to quotations and customer requirements
• Submitting customs declarations in line with HMRC customs requirements
• Processing shipment documentation and information
• Liaising with customers and suppliers
• Tracking shipments
• Completing all other administration as required
• Dealing with problems and complaints in a professional and timely manner
Essential Skills
• Previous experience in Air Freight is essential
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload
• A strong team player who can also work using their own initiative
• Ability to follow company policies and procedures at all times
• Ensure accreditation and company compliance at all times
Desirable Experience
• Experience using CargoWise software
Training Provided
• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout
