Calne .

This role would suit candidates with experience as an
HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Refuse Driver, Refuse Truck Driver, Waste Collection Driver, Recycling Driver, or Dustcart Driver .

- Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver, your duties will include:
- Carrying out full daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects
- Driving the refuse vehicle safely along assigned collection routes
- Operating bin-lifting equipment to empty waste and recycling containers
- Working safely as part of a collection crew and following loading signals
- Ensuring all waste is collected efficiently and routes are completed
- Following strict health and safety procedures at all times, especially in public areas
- Recording and reporting issues such as missed bins, contamination, or access problems
- Providing excellent customer service when dealing with members of the public
- Assisting the collection crew where required Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver, you will need: • A valid UK Category C Driving Licence
- A valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than six penalty points for minor offences
- No major endorsement codes
- Reliability, professionalism, and punctuality
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A good understanding of road safety and transport compliance
- The ability to work as part of a team in a physically demanding role Desirable Experience • Previous multi-drop delivery experience would be advantageous
- Previous experience driving refuse vehicles within the waste management sector would be beneficial
- Experience working in outdoor or physically demanding roles would be desirable Training Provided • Full industry-related training provided
