3.5 Tonne Driver
to join our well-established client based in
Stafford, Staffordshire . This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression. Shifts:
• Monday to Friday
• Start time: 07:30am
• Minimum 8 hours paid per shift Rates of Pay:
• £12.21 per hour Benefits:
• Weekly pay
• On-site canteen facilities
• Immediate starts available
• Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties:
• Drive 3.5 tonne vehicles safely and efficiently to various destinations
• Assist with loading the vehicle before departure
• Work as part of a two-person delivery team
• Deliver to homes, construction sites, and commercial premises
• Handle goods manually as required
• Carry out local and long-distance runs
• Complete up to 5 drops per day
• Communicate effectively with production and dispatch teams
• Accurately complete all relevant delivery paperwork Essential Skills:
• Valid UK Category B (Car/Van) Driving Licence
• Minimum of 12 months\' experience driving Category B vehicles
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsements)
• Strong knowledge of the UK road network
• Good level of written and spoken English
• Reliable, punctual, and organised
• Understanding of UK traffic laws and delivery procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills Desirable Experience:
• Previous commercial driving experience
