3.5 Tonne Driver – Stafford
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 3.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Stafford, Staffordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and genuine opportunities to grow and progress.
Shifts
• Monday to Friday
• Start times between 06:00 and 08:00
Rates of Pay
• £12.21 per hour
• Minimum 8 hours paid per shift

Day-to-Day Duties
• Driving delivery vans safely and efficiently
• Assisting with loading vehicles
• Working as part of a two-person team
• Delivering to homes, building sites and other locations
• Handball of manufactured goods
• Completing both local and long-distance runs
• Completing up to 5 drops per day
• Communicating with production staff
• Completing relevant paperwork
Essential Skills
• Valid UK Category B driving licence
• Minimum of 12 months\’ experience driving Category B vehicles
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences and no major endorsement codes
• Good knowledge of the UK road network
• Good level of spoken and written English
• Punctual with excellent time-keeping
• Good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience
• Previous experience driving commercial vehicles
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience
Training Provided
• Full training and ongoing support provided
