7.5 Tonne Driver - Wigan
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Wigan.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, full training and genuine long-term opportunities with a leading company within the industry.
This role would suit candidates who have previously worked as a Category C1 Driver, Multi-Drop Driveror Truck Driver.

- Monday to Friday, plus Saturday shifts
- Start time of 08:00
- Approximate shift length of eight to ten hours

- Driving Category C1 vehicles safely and efficiently
- Completing between five and ten deliveries per shift to commercial properties across the North West
- Carrying out vehicle checks before and after each shift
- Ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on time
- Handballing goods as required
- Communicating professionally with customers on delivery sites
- Addressing customer concerns and reporting issues promptly to management
- Adhering to all transport regulations and company procedures
Essential Skills
- A valid UK Category C1 Driving Licence
- A valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than six penalty points for minor offences
- No DR10, DG10, IN10 or TT99 endorsement codes
- No major endorsement codes
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good punctuality and timekeeping
- A professional and reliable approach to work
Desirable Experience
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience
- Experience delivering to commercial premises
- Experience driving Category C1 vehicles
