People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Trainee Administration Assistant to join our well-established client based in Broughton Astley, Leicestershire. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity offering full training, ongoing development and genuine long-term career progression within the logistics industry. No previous office experience is required as full training will be provided from day one.

This role would suit individuals looking to gain their first office-based experience, those who have recently completed education or training, or candidates seeking to build a long-term career within logistics, administration and international trade. Candidates with an interest in Administration, Office Administration, Logistics Administration, Transport Administration, Import Administration, Shipping Administration, Freight Administration or Office Support are encouraged to apply.

Shifts: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:00

Rates of Pay: Starting salary from £18,000 per annum (age dependent). Salary reviews available as skills and experience develop.

Day-to-Day Duties:

  • Providing administrative support to the Import Department
  • Assisting with the coordination of import shipments
  • Preparing and processing import documentation
  • Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers and transport providers
  • Supporting traffic and logistics operations
  • Ensuring documentation is completed accurately and in line with company procedures
  • General office administration duties
  • Supporting the wider team with day-to-day operational requirements

Essential Skills:
