People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Tamworth, Staffordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent pay rates, ongoing work, and genuine long-term progression opportunities.

Day-to-Day Duties
- Trunking depot to depot (curtain-sider work)
- Safely operate HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure all loads are correctly secured
- Adhere to traffic laws and company procedures
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Report any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements
- Assist with loading and unloading when required
Essential Skills
- Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) Licence
- Minimum of 12 months’ experience driving C+E vehicles
- Maximum of six penalty points for minor infringements (no major endorsements)
- Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good level of spoken and written English
- Excellent punctuality and time-keeping
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations
- Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience
- Experience driving other commercial vehicles
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience
Training Provided
Full industry-related training and ongoing support throughout.
