People Solutions are currently recruiting for an Executive Support Officer to join our well-established client based in Tamworth. This is a fantastic opportunity, offering great benefits and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.
Working times: Monday to Friday: 09:00 - 17:00 (08:00 - 17:00 occasionally)
Rates of pay: Competitive
Benefits: Your benefits as an Executive Support Officer will be:
- Weekly pay

Day-to-day duties: As an Executive Support Officer, your duties will include (but not be limited to):
- Filing and scanning documents
- Responding to emails and phone enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Supporting Committee processes including report management
- Organising and overseeing the administration of executive support
- Maintaining accurate records and updating databases
- Organising, attending meetings, taking minutes and accurately recording actions
- Preparing and formatting documents, reports, and correspondence
- Facilitating the administration of road closure notices
- Supporting the management team with day-to-day administrative tasks
- Scheduling appointments, meetings, and room bookings
- Handling incoming and outgoing post
- Diary management for members of CMT and the Leader, assessing priority of appointments and reallocation as necessary
- Composing presentations, spreadsheets and reports as directed and assisting with the preparation of complex reviews and reports
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
Essential skills: To be successful as an Executive Support Officer, you will need:
- Able to work on own initiative to solve problems demonstrating a proactive approach
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills
- Confident in dealing with difficult customer enquiries both over the telephone and face to face
- Knowledge and understanding of Data protection
- Good working knowledge of functions and the roles of members including civic duties and the roles of different committees
- Able to work on own and as part of a team
- Experience of producing complex reports and presentations
- Highly organised
- Exemplary communication skills both verbally and in writing with a high level of IT proficiency
Desirable skills:
- Previous administration experience or experience in a related field
- Experience working in a fast-paced office environment
Training: Full training will be provided, with additional support throughout.
