HGV Class 2 Driver - Stepps - Multi Drop - Ongoing Work - £15.25 - £18.50 Per Hour - Weekly Pay
People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well‑established client based in Stepps . This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent hourly rates , consistent work , and long‑term development , making it suitable for both experienced and newly passed HGV Class 2 Drivers.
This role would suit applicants who have worked as an LGV Class 2 Driver , Category C Driver , or Lorry Driver .
Shifts: Day shifts with early starts
Pay rate: £15.25 - £18.50 per hour

Day‑to‑Day Duties
- Operating Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
- Delivering products to business customers, sometimes with assistance from a Driver's Mate
- Loading and unloading vehicles in a safe and careful manner
- Carrying out pre‑ and post‑journey vehicle checks
- Ensuring all loads are secure and compliant with safety regulations
- Following assigned delivery routes and schedules
- Communicating effectively with dispatch teams and customers
- Some handball work required
Essential Skills
- Valid UK Category C Licence
- Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD, or CD codes)
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and road safety regulations
- Ability to work effectively as part of a two‑person delivery team
Desirable Experience
- Previous commercial or multi‑drop driving experience
- Experience delivering large or bulky items
- Customer‑facing delivery experience
Training Provided
- Full industry‑related training and ongoing support throughout the assignment
