Shop Fitter / POS Installer – Tewkesbury
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Shop Fitter / POS Installer based in Tewkesbury to join our client.
This represents a fantastic opportunity to work with an established family-owned business specialising in the installation of retail signage and display systems across the UK and Europe.
Shifts
• Working various days and nights between Monday and Sunday
• 39 hours per week
• Non-standard shift patterns, which may include nights out and weekends
Rates of Pay
• £13.00 – £18.00 per hour (depending on experience and shift pattern)

Day-to-Day Duties
• Install POS equipment as required by the client
• Complete jobs individually or as part of a team of Fitters/Contractors
• Work from designs and diagrams provided and complete site surveys
• Complete relevant paperwork as required
• Load and unload products, ensuring they are secure and undamaged in transit
• Work away from home when necessary, which may include travel abroad
Essential Skills
• Understanding of health and safety requirements and risks involved in national installations
• Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
• Understanding of technical diagrams and good hand-to-eye coordination
• Ability to liaise in a professional manner and represent the company when required
• Previous experience as a Fitter/Installer or in a similar role
• Full UK Driving Licence (no more than three points)
• Current passport and comfortable travelling abroad
• Previous experience as a POS Fitter/Installer
Desirable Experience
• Previous experience driving a 3.5 tonne van
• Valid IPAF licence
Training Provided
• Full training on company policies and procedures provided by the client
