People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Chesterfield.
Earn up to £23.00 per hour | Monday to Friday | Weekly Pay | Ongoing Work | Weekend Overtime Available | Immediate Starts
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for long-term progression within a well-established logistics operation.
This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver, Category C+E Driver, CE Driver, Articulated Lorry Driver, Tramper Driver or Multi-Drop Driver.
Shifts
- Monday to Friday (Weekend work available)
- AM start times between 04:00 - 08:00
Rates of Pay
- £19.00 per hour - Monday to Friday
- £21.50 per hour - Saturday
- £23.00 per hour - Sunday
- Weekly Pay

Day-to-Day Duties
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Completing Class 1 multi-drop deliveries safely and efficiently
- Operating Category C+E vehicles in line with company and DVSA regulations
- Carrying out pre-and post-journey vehicle inspections
- Ensuring all loads are secure prior to departure
- Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork and Digital Tachograph records
- Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers
- Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements promp
