People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Rugby, Warwickshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.
This role would suit applicants who have worked as a Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Lorry Driver.
Shifts: Sunday to Thursday, Start times between 18:00 - 19:00
Rates of Pay:
- Days (06:00 - 22:00): £18.54 per hour
- Nights (22:00 - 06:00): £21.43 per hour
- Overtime (42 hours+): £26.54 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:
- Multi-drop delivery of cages to hospitals
- Loading and unloading of roller cages
- Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
- Adhering to traffic laws and regulations
- Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
- Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs
- Ensuring all loads are safe and secure
Essential Skills:
- Valid UK Category C / Class 2 licence
- Minimum 12 months' Class 2 driving experience
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
- Valid UK CPC and Digi cards
- Good spoken and written English
Desirable Experience:
- Previous commercial driving experience
Training Provided: Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment.
