People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Quality Technician to join our well-established client based in the Salford M50.
Your benefits as a Quality Technician are:
- Weekly pay
- One hour break (30 minutes of which is paid)
Day to Day Duties
As a Quality Technician your duties will be, but not limited to:
- Inspecting raw materials, monitoring products throughout the manufacturing process, and ensuring they meet specifications and regulations
- Ensure consistent quality of the raw materials and the raw materials feed through routine testing
- Compliance with laboratory test methods
- Support management of the laboratory equipment calibration
- Identifying defects, investigating root causes, and working with production teams to resolve issues and prevent recurrence
- Maintaining accurate records of inspections, tests, and non-conformances
- Responsible for the hygiene / cleaning of the laboratory and its equipment
- Adhering to company quality standards, procedures, and relevant regulations
Skills needed to be a Quality Technician with our client are:
- Basic level of English
- Reliable and punctual
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Experience of customer service is desirable
- Experience of working in a product testing environment is desirable
