People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Part Time Accounts Administrator to join our well-established client based in Trafford Park, Manchester. This is a permanent part-time position working 20 hours per week, offering a varied and hands-on role primarily focused on accounts, with general administration duties to support the wider business.

- £15,600 – £18,720 per annum (pro rata, depending on experience, based on 20 hours per week)

Day-to-Day Duties
- Completing bank reconciliations
- Managing purchase ledger and supplier accounts
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Processing customer credits and returns
- Ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded, filed and reported
- Supporting month-end and year-end processes
- Maintaining effective financial controls, procedures and audit trails
- Liaising with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders
- Providing general administrative support to the wider team as required
Essential Skills
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance administration role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
- Good understanding of financial controls and accounting procedures
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Confident communicating with both financial and non-financial colleagues
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a varied, evolving role
