People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Reach Truck Driver to join our well-established client based in Lichfield, West Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, Monday to Friday working, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for career progression within a busy warehouse environment.

This role would suit candidates with experience as an FLT Reach Truck Driver, Reach Truck Driver, FLT Driver, Reach Forklift Driver, Forklift Truck Driver, FLT Operator, Warehouse Operative, Material Handler, or MHE Operative.

Shifts: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 18:00

Rates of Pay: £13.30 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:

  • Operating a Reach Truck safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse
  • Carrying out daily pre-use vehicle inspections and reporting any defects promptly
  • Receiving goods into the warehouse and safely storing pallets within racking locations
  • Loading, unloading, and moving stock throughout the warehouse using FLT equipment
  • Checking the quantity and visual quality of incoming and outgoing goods
  • Unpacking, storing, and preparing goods for dispatch
  • Organising stock and maintaining accurate warehouse locations
  • Supporting general warehouse operations when required
  • Following all Health & Safety procedures and company standards at all times

Essential Skills:

  • A valid accredited Reach Truck licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT, or equivalent)
  • Previous experience operating a Reach Truck within a warehouse environment
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong spatial awareness and excellent attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
  • A reliable, self-motivated, and flexible approach to work
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Desirable Experience:

  • A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience

Training Provided:

  • Full site paid induction and assessment prior to starting
  • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
